The music on this album is a result of a celebration of the Danish poet, Ole Sarvig, who in the autumn of 2021 would have turned 100. During the last six years I have been writing music to his wonderful poems and seven of these pieces made it into a suite entitled “Uden alder” (Ageless) which was performed three times in the autumn of 2021.

The title “Uden alder” (Ageless) is due to the fact that Sarvig’s poetry al-ways appears new, fresh and relevant and that it, at the same time, has its own personal universe and sense of time, where time is sometimes sidelined, other times in slow motion. The Danish poet and writer, Søren Ulrik Thomsen, has described Sarvig’s poetry as “Sleepwalking poetry”.

The last five songs of this CD are songs which somehow share the same universe as Ole Sarvig’s poems, one of them even by Sarvig.
